Tell us the fault you cannot find

This site covers the faults golfers most often arrive with. Yours may not be one of them yet, and the search box only knows the words it was given, so a fault that is here can still be described in a way it does not recognise. Either way, the answer is the same: describe what the ball is doing and it gets read.

A person reads these. Nothing is sent back to you automatically. Leaving an email address is optional, and if you leave one it is used for one thing, telling you when the fault is covered. No marketing, no list, nothing else.

Describe the ball rather than the swing: which club, where it starts, which way it bends, where it finishes. If it only happens sometimes, say when.

Useful, not required. What you changed, what a coach or a video told you, or the words you looked for here and did not find.

Leave it blank and the report is still read. If you give it, it is used for one thing: telling you when this fault is covered. It is never published, never sold, and never added to a mailing list.

What happens to this

Who reads it
A person, not a queue and not a robot. It arrives in the same place a correction does, and nothing is sent back to you automatically.
If you left an address
It is used for one thing: telling you when the fault is covered. Never published, never sold, never added to a mailing list. If you did not tick the box, nothing will be sent at all.
If you left it blank
The report is read just the same. Nothing is stored that you did not type.
How long it takes
Weeks rather than days. A new fault means a new page, and a page is not written until the cause has been checked against the sources.

Before you write, it is worth a look through every symptom on one page, since a fault is often filed under words you would not have searched for. Anything that is not a missing fault, a correction or a broken page, belongs on the contact form instead.
